When Rain and Dark visits us everyday.
We can't really see the Sun shinning down anymore so we take Vitamin D3!
So...I began recreating and bringing back the awesome Filipino dishes that make feel warm and hOMey.
This one is definitely a Sinigang Inspired dish without Fish Sauce - A New Age-Hippie-Hipster-NorthWestCoast-Styles :) Enjoy Friends and Fam:
-Rinse a cup of Quinoa and leave it in water for a couple of hours.
-In a pot - place Quinoa, Salmon head and Salmon bones with 1 cup of Pacific Coconut Milk with dashes/pinches of Himalayan salt, organic ginger, dashes/pinches of turmeric and let it simmer.
-Then add organic kale, lemongrass, dash/pinch of cayenne pepper and half a cup of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey. Let it Simmer for three minutes...add another dashes/pinches of Himalayan Salt, turmeric and cayenne pepper.
-Let it simmer for another minute and then taste it :) If you need more salt...just add a bit more.
-Then serve it with a little bit of cilantro and basil.
Servings for 3 people!
