Vulnerability is..."Being willing to express the Truth...no matter what! The truth of who you are. The essence at your core... at what your feeling at any given moment. It's being able to open up your soul and let it Flow, so that other people can see their Soul in Yours." by Oprah Photo by: stasia-g.com by Stasia Garraway at Moksha/Modo Yoga Teacher Appreciation at Salt Spring Island, BC 2014

For tonight's First Full Moon Offering...
I woke up this morning feeling like...Take your time to gently take care of yourself, because you never know what can happen to your mind and body these days. What's the rush anyways? ♡ Stay young and be curious to everything. Go and get wild, but not just for fun. Eat slow and I mean relish your gourmet homemade presentations. Please move to your rhythm and your ebbs and flows. Sometimes we need to be reminded! Embrace what you do to yourself now and to others, because Karma is a bitch! Ground your own truth and your strength will always have your back! Surround yourself with good vibes forever. And remember to always come back and root them all down. Because why not? Life is for real-real-real short these days...And yes...I am so grateful to wake up to this time ♡☆♡ I also shared with you an Owl Packet of Wisdom for your bath tonight or for the week with... 3 tablespoons of Love, Heal and Peace with Epsom Salts 1 tablespoon of Strength with Pink Himalayan Salt 3 drops of heArt with Spruce Oil 1 tablespoon of Courage with Organic Dried Roses I also shared 9 mini-jars of Arnicated Spruce Olive Oils for the places in our bodies that need some more healing! Ingredients are from Zenith Supplies http://www.zenithsupplies.com/ I hope tonight's a Howlin'-Restful-Roarin'-Kinda-Night! #loverose Its been awhile since I've been here. Its been awhile since I can hold myself and really listen to you. Its been awhile since I can even really sit down and express what I've been really feeling. It comes and goes, my sadness with you. I land at times in moments when I really feel that you are truly gone from this physical world. But the stillness of my Quietness reminds me of you. The reminder from your eyes, that is forever imprinted in my mind only when I close my eyes. Now I can be Silent and enjoy these moments, because you've taught me how. Today, I got my strength back to write and face my computer once again. Right at the beginning of February of last year, I was doing well with this new ritual of getting back to my roots of writing. I began creating and strength building started to roll forward. Then the beginning of last year began through the eyes of the sunset. It began with the many unexpected series upon series of awakening events and encounters. I didn't expect the sequences of experiences that were unfolding. So much to digest. So much to absorb. All in one year! Suddenly I was watching myself, stand atop on a ferry, watching the sunset beyond the mountains and looking at the waves...that day I got the call...I got to use my real-life-longboard for the first time. And now here we are a couple months after everything...and I'm still riding these waves. #loverose Photo taken in Seattle, Washington at the Rose Garden 2015 - "Lotus Glitter" It takes time... to fold my favourite flannel sweater that I used to wear. I opened the door slowly, welcomed the warmth wash over me. I took you out with my rough hands held your arm sleeves. I lifted you up pass my chin higher than my head reached up to my arms length. You were red and black! I placed you down on my face. The buttons of you touched my forehead, the tip of my nose, the bottom part of my lip, the softest part of my chin. Remembered those times... Walked along the trails of our private islands. Where it was just you and me. 'It takes time...by Rose Cortez 2016" #loverose Above the mountains
the geese turn into the light again painting their black silhouettes on an open sky. Sometimes everything has to be enscribed across the heavens so you can find the one line already written inside you. Sometimes it takes a great sky to find that first, bright and indescribable wedge of freedom in your own heart. Sometimes with the bones of the black sticks left when the fire has gone out someone has written something new in the ashes of your life. You are not leaving. Even as the light fades quickly now, you are arriving. ... The Journey: in 'The House of Belonging' and ‘River Flow: New and Selected Poems’ ©David Whyte and Many Rivers Press |
